New Directions are seeking a passionate and dynamic Performing Arts Teacher to join our creative and forward-thinking team based in a school in Liverpool on a long term role starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality lessons across Drama and Music depending on your specialism, to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.

As a Performing Arts Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
Maintain discipline.
Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
A strong academic background Drama/Music/Dance or related discipline.
To deliver religious education lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 16 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
The Successful Performance Arts Teacher must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience Of Teaching Music, Drama and Dance.
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
