We are currently looking for a Supply Citizenship & PSHE Teacher to work across schools in the Wrexham area, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils across the secondary age range. The role would suit a teacher with a strong understanding of Citizenship and PSHE who can create a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour effectively and adapt to different school settings. A willingness to take on general cover alongside your specialist subject would be highly beneficial, as this can provide access to a wider range of supply opportunities. Being able to drive would also be advantageous, particularly due to the nature of supply bookings, as we regularly receive short-notice requirements first thing in the morning across Wrexham and the surrounding areas.

Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic and imaginative presentation
Maintain discipline
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
