We have opportunities available for day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements. Enjoy the flexibility of daily supply, explore different school settings through short-term assignments, or take on a longer-term role where you can build relationships with pupils and staff. Depending on the school and placement, your duties may include:
Delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
Establishing a welcoming classroom where every pupil feels supported and included.
Encouraging pupils’ academic achievement, confidence and personal development.
Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining an effective learning environment.
Monitoring progress and adapting lessons to meet different learning needs.
Working alongside teaching assistants and other school staff to support pupils.
Following safeguarding procedures and school policies to ensure pupils’ safety and wellbeing.
Longer-term placements may also involve additional planning, assessment and participation in wider school activities.
