New Directions Education are currently recruiting a Primary SEN Teacher to work in schools across Wirral West. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to support and inspire children with Autism and complex learning needs, helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
The Role:
Teaching and supporting pupils with Autism and complex needs across the primary age range
Planning and delivering personalised, high-quality lessons and interventions
Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on pupil progress
Maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborating closely with SEN teams, teaching assistants, and wider school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching in a primary school or SEN setting, particularly with pupils with Autism or complex needs
Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, differentiation, and inclusive teaching practices
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and provide appropriate professional references.
