Job Description
We are currently recruiting for dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in a range of secondary schools across the Chepstow and Caldicot area. As an LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and development, both in and out of the classroom. Your responsibilities may include:
Providing one-to-one or small group support to students
Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
Supporting students with additional learning needs, including SEN
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
Transferable skills and experience derived from care, support work, or social care settings
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for education and supporting student progress
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
