About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils in the classroom, helping them access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. You may work with small groups, support pupils with additional needs, or provide 1:1 assistance under the guidance of the class or subject teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils’ learning across the classroom or in small groups
Apply knowledge of psychology to understand and support pupil needs
Assist with behavioural, social, and emotional development
Help create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
Support teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and resources
Work with pupils with SEND, SEMH, or other additional needs
We are looking for individuals who:
Hold a degree in Psychology
Are enthusiastic, patient, and approachable
Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
Are proactive, reliable, and keen to gain experience in education
Have a genuine interest in child development and education
