About the Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting pupils in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Delivering small group interventions and one-to-one support.
Assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Supporting pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working with children within a primary school, educational, childcare or youth work setting.
A positive, proactive and adaptable approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Relevant qualifications in Education, Childcare or Teaching Assistant support are desirable, but we welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience and a passion for education.
