New Directions Education is currently recruiting for a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS qualified Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly primary school based on the Wirral. This is a part-time role starting in September 2025, for 1 day per week on an ongoing basis (specific day to be confirmed).

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the class teacher with EYFS learning and development
Engaging pupils through play-based activities and routine tasks
Creating a safe and nurturing environment for young learners
Encouraging early communication, language and social skills
Helping to monitor and track pupil progress
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 TA qualification (EYFS specialism preferred)
Proven experience in an Early Years setting
Kind, patient and proactive attitude
Excellent communication and classroom support skills
Available to work one day per week from September 2025

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
