New Directions Education are seeking an experienced School Administrator, to work on a supply basis in primary schools in Blaenau Gwent.
Applicants must be available to work full-time, 8:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday, term-time only. The nature of supply work will involve covering long and short-term temporary positions in local schools, supporting with internal staff absences such as sickness and maternity.
Our clients are looking to appoint organised, professional and adaptable individuals. Previous experience working in a school office and experience using the School Information Management System (SIMS) is essential. Previous experience managing school finances is also desirable.
The successful applicant will be working independently to oversee the daily running of the office and must be confident in the role. This is a great opportunity for an experienced School Administrator to join us, to take on flexible work and provide integral office support to local primary schools.

We recruit a wide variety of School Office Staff roles, including school secretaries, receptionists, administrators, and school clerks.
Duties are varied and may include the following:
School Office Staff must be well organised as well as having excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must also be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise tasks.
Candidates will ideally have previous experience working within a school office. Working knowledge of SIMS system is advantageous.
Schools will expect all school support staff to have a good standard of education, some previous office work experience and ideally previous experience working within an educational setting.
