New Directions Education are currently looking for a caring and empathetic Learning Support Assistant (TA) for a secondary school on the Wirral. This has potential to be a long-term position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will support teachers in delivering high quality learning to all pupils.
Duties include:
An efficient approach to learning and teaching by adapting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher – increasing achievements of students.
Working with students as directed by the Special Educational Needs Coordinator, to ensure all SEND students make the best possible progress in school both academically and socially.
Promote, support and facilitate inclusion.
Communicate effectively and sensitively with students to adapt their needs.
