New Directions are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our secondary schools across Cardiff.
As an LSA, you will play a key role in supporting students in their lessons. This may include working with young people who face emotional and behavioural challenges, so we are looking for individuals who are compassionate, patient, and adaptable in their approach.
You will work closely with teachers and school staff, so strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. The role involves supporting students both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, helping them to engage with and complete set work.

What we’re looking for:
At least 3 months’ experience working with children, or a relevant child-based qualification
A caring and supportive approach to working with young people
Confidence in working 1:1 and with small groups
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 months’ child-based experience

A valid DBS (or willingness to complete one through New Directions)
Willingness to complete mandatory training as required
