New Directions Education is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and skilled SEN Teachers to support specialist provisions and mainstream resource provisions across Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to work in nurturing environments that bridge mainstream and specialist education, providing tailored support for learners with a range of additional needs.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience supporting children and young people with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices, differentiation, and SEN strategies
Excellent behaviour management and therapeutic approaches to support emotional regulation
Creativity, patience, and empathy, with a genuine passion for helping all learners reach their full potential
Your Role Will Include:
Delivering high-quality, individualised teaching to meet diverse learning needs
Planning and adapting lessons to align with EHCP targets and personalised goals
Collaborating with SENCOs, support staff, therapists, and families to create cohesive support plans
Tracking and monitoring pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes
Fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages independence and confidence
