About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant in this setting, you will play a vital role in helping children achieve their full potential. In this role, you’ll be to supporting pupils with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and complex needs.
Your responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with complex medical and learning needs Assisting with personal care, including toileting and feeding
Supporting pupils with mobility needs, sometimes involving hoisting Promoting a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Experience of working with children and young people with a range of complex needs; cerebral palsy, wheelchair users, down syndrome, hearing impairment, severe autism.
Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists, and external professionals
