New Directions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sports Coach to join an exceptional specialist school in Wirral supporting pupils aged 9–16 across Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
This unique provision supports pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) across all four broad areas of need, as well as some pupils undergoing assessment through their Local Authority. The school welcomes children regardless of starting point or previous experience and is committed to unlocking every pupil’s potential.
As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with teachers and the pastoral team to support learning, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and build confidence at a pace that suits them. The role will include some elements of supporting within the classroom environment to support students to access their learning.

• Supporting pupils across a range of subjects and pathways
