As an SEN / SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
You may work with pupils who have:
You will create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment, helping pupils build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Previous experience teaching children or young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs
– Strong behaviour management and classroom management skills
– The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
– Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
– A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
– A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
