We are currently recruiting for a strong Teaching Assistant to work in an ALN Unit in Wrexham. You will be working with children who have extremely challenging behaviour. The unit are well staffed and very experienced in dealing with children with complex behavioural needs. They use the Team Teach de-escalation approach to behaviour management, which the children respond really well to.
We are looking for Teaching Assistants to act as strong role
models for the children. You must have experience working as a Teaching
Assistant and some experience with challenging behaviour is a benefit but not
essential as full training will be provided.

To work in an Additional Learning Needs (ALN) role you will need:
Ideally experience working in an ALN environment
Recent experience in a classroom environment
An excellent track record
Good knowledge of the national curriculum
Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term.
