Job Description

New Directions Education require qualified teachers for local work in Rhondda Cynon Taf. Our schools need flexible, dedicated supply teachers to cover sickness, courses and PPA. Candidates must have QTS and be prepared to build relationships with our lovely schools. If you are looking for an opportunity to build your career through experience in different schools then supply work could be for you. We can offer both short and long term placements and the promise of a dedicated account manager that will ensure you are placed in suitable positions. If you have a particular key stage preference or would like to stay within local distance we will endeavour to meet your needs.

Experience with Read Write Inc, Big Maths and Success for All are beneficial but not essential. We welcome NQTs as well as experienced teachers. Job Specification

We recruit Primary Teachers for jobs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary Teacher job roles.

As a Primary School Teacher you’ll be expected to:

  • Teach all areas of the school curriculum
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
  • Maintain discipline
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
  • Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
  • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
