Teaching Assistant Kirkby Full Time Immediate Start £450-£500 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
We are looking for a Enthusiastic and Committed Teaching Assistant to join our Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in Kirkby. As a Teaching Assistant you will support access to learning for pupils and supporting the teacher with managing pupils and the classroom. Person Specification;
GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grace C) in English and Maths.
First-aid training, or willingness to complete it
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Experience working in a school environment or other educational settings
Experience planning and delivering learning activities.

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
Use ICT skills to advance pupils learning
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
