New Directions are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school based in Bradford, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
A full-time classroom support position, assisting with day-to-day learning activities and classroom routines.
Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and promote confidence and independence.
Work collaboratively with the class teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Support pupils’ social and emotional development, helping them to build positive relationships and manage their behaviour effectively.
The Candidate:
A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
Experience working with children in a classroom setting is preferred; however, we also welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in care, support work, sports coaching, or psychology.
Demonstrates patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
Has strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
