New Directions Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bromborough. This role will be based in the F1 (Nursery) class, working 4 days per week from January 2025 through to Summer 2026.
Role responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities
Assist with the daily routines of the F1 class, including personal care where needed
Help children develop early communication, social and motor skills
Create a positive, nurturing learning environment for all pupils
What we’re looking for:
Experience working in EYFS / Nursery (essential)
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
A caring, enthusiastic and patient approach
Team player who can build great relationships with staff and pupils

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing).
We’ll also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.
