We are currently working with a number of friendly and inclusive schools across Denbighshire to recruit Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants for supply work. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated and adaptable individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development while promoting the Welsh language. We are looking for reliable and responsible individuals, who are passionate about working with children to help them strive and make their school experience a fun and safe environment by giving them the tools to reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will be to support the teacher in delivering lessons and activities in a safe and engaging manner, assisting in the preparation of lessons plans and learning resources and encouraging positive behaviour and supporting the teacher with classroom management.
Ideally, we ask for 3 months minimum experience working with children or have a child-based qualification. We do consider candidates who have transferable skills, this means having experience working in social care, coaching, or nursing.
Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools. We specialise in recruiting Teaching Assistants (TA) who are qualified in the following.
We’ll also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.
