Full-Time, Teaching Assistant – Year 5 – Wirral

A lovely primary school on the Wirral is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, ongoing basis starting after May half term.

Location: Wirral
Start Date: After May Half Term
Duration: Ongoing – continuing into the new academic year
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Year Group: Year 5
Role Type: General classroom support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
  • Working with groups of pupils to support learning across the curriculum
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning
  • Assisting with preparation of learning materials and displays
  • Providing general support to pupils and contributing to a positive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 is desirable
  • A proactive, positive and flexible attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools.
