Since working for New Directions Education I have felt looked after. My Account Manager is friendly, positive, polite and professional and we have a great rapport. So much so, that I have decided to only do supply work for New Directions currently, and have not signed up to any other agencies due to her friendly demeanour, which I haven’t found so easily elsewhere. She tries her best to offer me work when she can for both long and short term cover and I have built a successful rapport with the schools I have worked in, and have really enjoyed teaching in them. I find my agent easily contactable and am able to ring her if I have any questions or concerns, she was very helpful in sorting out my holiday pay and tax code, and has helped me get an interview for a long term position. I only have positive feedback for New Directions, and my Account Manager -She’s fab!

I have enjoyed working for New Directions for the past three years, it has given me a great experience of working in different schools within a range of year groups and has increased my confidence.
New Directions try their best to get me work in advance which I prefer and always seem happy to make enquiries for me to ensure I have all the information I need before I go to a new school.
New directions try their best to put me in schools and year groups that I enjoy working in and always check with me before booking me into a different work place. They listen to my views and opinions which makes me feel valued and part of a team.
I have had a number of consultants finding me work and I must say that my current Account Manager goes above and beyond, he keeps me in the loop and try’s to have a catch up with me so we both know what is happening, whether this relates specifically to the schools I am going into or just to check how I am, this especially helped recently as I had a family crisis. He made sure I had any days off that I needed and this gave me one less thing to worry about.
I would like to take this opportunity to say that New Directions are a great company to work for and I would recommend them as an agency for anyone looking to work as a supply teacher.

We have been using New Directions since January 2012, after they were recommended to us by another local School. We have been delighted with the supply staff that New Directions have been able to provide us with – for both long and short term assignments.
The telephone is always promptly answered – regardless of the time of day – and staff are always very friendly and helpful. If we have requested the return of a supply teacher – wherever possible this has been arranged.
The most impressive situation that we have encountered is when our requirement was to cover our Music Co-ordinators timetable, including a Ukulele lesson – the music specialist supply that was found went out and bought a ukulele and taught herself to play it before coming to us!
We are more than happy to recommend New Directions to other schools
