New Directions have helped me start a new career as a Learning Support Assistant, a job that I very much enjoy within a college that I feel at home in. I also find the free courses very useful and have provided extra pluses to my CV. Jennifer has been particularly helpful in finding me suitable work. She is always friendly, down to earth and a pleasure to liaise with. I would recommend New Directions above all of the education agencies that I am listed with.

I have been with New Directions now for just over 2 years. The team of staff in every department are always professional, friendly, helpful and do their best to find me work whenever I need it. They also give me feedback after a placement, which helps me to evaluate my own performance.

I have had varied work in different settings around Cardiff, mostly nurseries, but each setting is different. It has also been very helpful to take online courses such as Safeguarding, which has enabled me to learn all there is to know in current legislation and practice on the subject.

I understand that New Directions is now the recommended provider for agency staff in schools, play schemes and social care for Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan and Rhondda Cynon Taff, and I can see why!
