We are delighted when we receive positive feedback about our service and the impact we have made on the lives of the people we work with. Here’s what some of our candidates had to say about us…

Whenever I am working in a school and get the chance I make a point of asking the cover supervisor which teaching supply agencies they are most happy working with. Particularly on the Wirral, where I do most of my work, the name New Directions keeps coming up again and again.
Also, I have found that my personal own contact at the agency has always put in that extra effort to understand the needs and particular skills of the teacher. It is all about matching teachers up with the right positions, whilst also thinking outside the box in that most good teachers can also teach other subjects other than their own specialism. For me a good agency should not only understand the needs of a school, but also understand the strengths and abilities of the person they are placing. This harmonious situation means, surely, that students will receive the best possible service from us, as teachers, on the day.

My Account Manager is friendly, helpful and supportive but above all, she is totally professional. She works hard to find work for me and I work hard wherever I go so together we get repeat work requests. I believe we have built up an excellent working relationship so I can give her frank feedback about my assignments and rely on her to be proactive and discreet. Recently I have been working in a school that uses New Directions supply staff regularly and, coincidentally, I have known many of the staff on supply from New Directions. All have my Account Manager as their consultant and we all agree she is fantastic.

I joined New Directions two years ago and have found them to be very professional at all times. At my interview I was put at ease and made to feel very welcome, especially from my consultant. She is very friendly, and understands your wants and need. She sorts out my work and tailors the jobs to suit my expertise and experience. My Account Manager has made me feel like part of the New Directions family and I wouldn’t want it any other way, nothing is to much trouble for her.

Working with New Directions has been of great help to me since I was looking for a job during a difficult period of time when all positions were taken.
However, thanks to my Account Manager’s professionalism, I managed to work at enjoyable schools with the nicest people and I gained invaluable teaching experiences.
I highly recommend New Directions because they are professionals to what they are doing and they are really interested in offering job opportunities to their employees. They are more than just a recruitment agency since they try to offer positions that match your qualifications and experience, and this is something that is very difficult to happen when you are looking for employement on your own. Special thanks also go to the Manchester team who were all only an e-mail or phone call away and did their best to help me all this time.
I will definitely suggest fellow teachers to work with New Directions Manchester.

I have been with New Directions Manchester for a year now and found them to be very professional and friendly. I can log online to check my future bookings, confirm my days worked and view my wage slips. It’s so simple! Since signing up with New Directions, I have always had work through them as a Teaching Assistant. Sometimes it has been to a school for just the one day and others have been for longer. I would highly recommend signing up with New Directions.

After graduating last summer and initially having difficulty obtaining a permanent teaching role, I was unsure of whether to go into supply teaching until I spoke to New Directions. The team in Manchester have been brilliant in getting me started and supporting me throughout the time I have been with them. I am always kept informed and have had constant assignments at some fantastic schools.

New Directions is an efficiently organised and family orientated agency who ensures that quality teachers are sent to good and outstanding schools. I began working for New Directions in May 2012 and was immediately impressed with their attention to detail and commitment to finding me the right schools for me, schools that employed a forward-thinking approach to teaching and were not afraid to listen to and respect the valuable role a supply teacher can provide. The advisers at New Directions in Manchester are available to me 24/7 and are always willing to listen to any ideas or issues I need to discuss.
Furthermore, through teaching with New Directions, I have managed to secure a fixed term contract which could lead to a permanent position in a school which is very much suited to my teaching style and I will be surrounded by teachers who are on my wave-length. I’m really looking forward to the opportunity and am very thankful to the whole team at New Directions Manchester
I have worked for a few of the more well-known supply teaching agencies based in Manchester, and am very happy to say I would hold New Directions in a higher regard than any of the others I have previously worked for. I have a fantastic and unrivalled professional and personal relationship with employees of New Directions.

“I have been working through New Directions for four years now, and would like to say that it’s been really a worthwhile experience.
When I was invited for an interview, I was a little apprehensive about the outcome, as working with an agency was a new experience for me. I needn’t have worried; the team were very friendly and took great pains to explain the terms and conditions to me. In fact, I had more to say to them in terms of when I was available for work!
One thing in particular makes the Swansea team so easy to work with, is that whenever I phone, they are always up to speed on everything, so full marks for office management. I hope to work with the team for a long time yet, so a big thank you to them, and best wishes to anyone joining New Directions.”
