I am currently registered with New Directions Manchester as well as two other agencies. As a Teacher I used to hate supply work, but since working for my Account Manager at New Directions I am beginning to like it for the following reasons:

• My Account Manager is very organised. She ensures that any supply bookings between a Teacher and a school are right; this prevents any misundestanding
• The team also ensure that supply staff are sent, where possible to the same schools. This helps to engender a sense of continuity with the teaching and learning process of the pupils, and trust with the school
• My Account Manager has the added virtues of punctuality and presence. Any time a Supply Teacher phones her office – she is there to solve any problems that may arise, or she makes a point of calling back as soon as she can
