I have found my relationship with my Account Manager Tammy to be a positive one. Tammy is friendly, approachable and helpful. Her pleasant personality comes through when speaking either on the phone or via email, and I know from past experience that if I have a query, for instance about a booking, Tammy will endeavour to provide an answer as soon as possible.

I registered with New Directions Education Ltd as an Examination Invigilator in autumn 2017. NDE provided me with full invigilation and safeguarding training, and this has resulted in my having worked over 300 hours facilitating and supervising both external and internal examinations in schools in the Wirral and Cheshire West and Chester Authorities. It has also enabled me to secure invigilation work at two universities.

Lauran Collins has been my Consultant for most of my time with NDE. Lauran is extremely professional and proactive. She always seeks to match me with schools, and find me suitable placements. Some six months ago, she placed me in a primary school to cover the post of School Administrator due to the postholder’s sickness absence. This has led to my continuing in this post for a further term.

Lauran is entirely helpful, responsive and willing to liaise with schools on my behalf. I am confident that Lauran will continue to find me further roles at the end of my current placement.

The great thing about working for New Directions in general, and Lauran in particular, is that they create a working culture and foster working relationships that are rarely found in the modern workplace. They do their level best in practice, not just give lip-service and sound-bites as a substitute for a commitment to service.

I have always found both Lauran and New Directions to be supportive, organised, reliable and personable. Now that I’m retired, I don’t have to work, but working for New Directions in their capacity as an agency has been an enjoyable experience.

New Directions’ training is practical and concise and New Directions management enables flexible working. They understand any restrictions which their staff have to work under and they are receptive to feedback.

If I had to recommend an organisation to someone looking for work, I would have no hesitation in recommending New Directions.

Sara is always very helpful and happy.  She has a lovely manner when talking to her and has looked after me very well during my time with New Directions.

I cannot say enough about Laura, my previous Account Manager. Laura looked after me during a very difficult time, she was amazing and I thought the way I was treated by the company was outstanding. I couldn’t think more highly of the whole team, but especially Laura. Sara has looked after me since February 2019 and has been just as sympathetic and understanding. I have never spoken to anyone in New Directions who has not been helpful or polite.

I think the staff are amazing and would recommend New Directions to anyone starting out.
