I first came across New Directions when I did a web search for a new agency. It was very easy to register with ND, just an informal chat and proof of qualifications etc.

I have found ND to be very efficient and have obtained placements on a regular basis depending on my availability. The staff are very approachable and friendly.

Being with several agencies and often with very long term appointments, ND always kept in touch despite me being unavailable. This was the main reason that I have stayed on ND’s list.

My consultant Kerry was my first contact with ND and I have always found her to be very helpful with finding work for me and she is not deterred even when I turn work down. I’ve been working with New Directions for five months now, having changed over from another supply agency. The registration process was straight forward; I had an initial phone call with Owen to gather some more information and set my worries at bay, followed by an application form, references and a face-to-face interview. The interview was very relaxed, yet professional. 

Once registered, I got work pretty quickly. New Directions got me out to several different schools and Owen, my Account Manager, was very efficient in checking in and forming an idea of the schools which worked best for me and vice-versa. 

I was shortly put onto the Guaranteed Pay Scheme which is working great for me. I feel that New Directions has changed my perception of supply agencies immensely and I am confident that I will get work and be paid at a competitive rate. 

I deal mostly with Owen, who has been fantastic and a real credit to the agency. He always has time to discuss your concerns, arrange placements in advance and has a really personal approach to his work. I’m enjoying working for New Directions.
