I have worked with New Directions since 2015. Nadine is very helpful, she always calls me or replies to my messages when I need some help or information. She has been very understanding about my availability and which schools and years I like to work in. She has always given me work in my regular schools.

We can also have a joke and she is very good when I forget my time sheets. This year I have been working in a few regular schools and it has been fantastic, I have had placements in my preferred schools and this has made me more confident. I hope to continue to work with New Directions and I have already recommend New Directions to a few people.

Having started my role as a cover supervisor in February 2017, I have nothing but praise and high recommendation for Matt and the staff at New Directions. Gemma has been a great account manager, right from the day I met her and was signed to the agency. We have talked regularly over the phone, through text and through email. She regularly got me work and was always working around my needs. Gemma found me long term supply contracts which suited me well and eventually gave me the opportunity to receive a contract direct from the school. She was always open to questions when I had them and these would be answered quickly. A super account manager!

I have worked with New Directions as a Teaching Assistant for almost a year. From the beginning the agency were very approachable with a registration/interview process that was basically a really good chat that ensured I was matched up with roles and schools that suited my experience and personality. After they checked my references, EWC registration and DBS thoroughly I was all set for work. From day one her regular, upbeat morning calls with offers of work have been a delight. She always checks to ensure she is not being intrusive when she calls and genuinely gives me a pressure free choice when she offers a placement. She is very knowledgeable about the schools she works with and always gives me a detailed briefing about each school. She is reliably contactable and she keeps in touch regularly by various methods to ensure I am happy during and after placements and always shares client feedback with me quickly – feedback which is generally positive, as in my experience she takes the time and effort to match candidates and clients so well. Without fail, every single day that I have been available for work, my Account Manager has found me a well-matched school assignment. The only down side to her doing her job so well and matching me up so perfectly is that I have been lucky enough to have been offered long term placements so don’t get so many of her bright and energetic early morning calls!
