I have been working with New Directions for the last 6 months and have enjoyed a variety of placements but also the opportunity of undertaking long term placements. I have enjoyed working within a well-known, respected college having been introduced through New Directions. My account manager is a very friendly and reliable contact at New Direction. She regularly keeps in contact with me, provides me with updates and new opportunities and is very contactable. I think she is professional, friendly and helpful and an asset to New Directions. Having been with New Directions for a year I feel happy with the work they have offered me so far, including a long-term lasting six months in a primary school and currently I am working six weeks in a different local primary school. There have been quiet times but then works seems to flood in which is great. My relationship with my point of contact is easy going and open I can have a joke and a laugh with him he contacts me regular with work. The highlight of working with New Direction is that the staff are friendly when you speak to them they are fine with you if you decline work.

I applied through New Directions after finishing my degree just to see if I could get any work and experience before starting my teacher training in September. The staff got in contact straight away and within 2 weeks I was set up and in my first school. Since then I have had work every day (which is more than I was expecting). The staff are very supportive and the process was quick and easy to sort out.

I have worked for New Directions for a number of years. I returned to teaching towards the end of the last academic year. I can honestly say that my point of contact has been the best consultant I have ever dealt with.
