New Directions has always been very helpful with meeting the Teachers’ preferences; finding temporary teaching work as a supply teacher or a home tutor. I have been fortunate enough to work with a few teaching agencies, but in the end, I decided to work only with New Directions.

The agents in the office are always available to solve any issues that arise, even if my agent was not available, I could confidently rely on other staff in the office to help me out.

Last year I was studying full-time, however, New Directions have enabled me to work part-time, which not only kept my continuous employment, it enabled me to utilise my teaching skills and pay for my studies.

A few years ago I made a difficult decision to change my career from Social Services to Education. I decided to join an agency to gain experience. Unfortunately I chose the first agency I came across in the Yellow Pages- a different agency, at this time I had not heard of New Directions nor did I take the time to find out about this other agency. Payments for contracts were missed and queries went unresolved.

Following this bad experience I did some research and had been told by fellow supply staff about New Directions recruitment agency. Following enroling with New Directions I never looked back. Payments were regular and correct, queries I made were answered and what is more, I became more confident doing my work as I built up my trust in New Directions staff. I felt I was valued and in turn valued staff judgement as I got to know New Directions’ staff team and they got to know me. I really enjoy the work I am contracted to do.
