I have worked as a Teacher specialising in Mathematics and Physical Education (PE) for over 41 years, in this time I have worked with students of varying ages from University to Primary schools in both the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (USA).

My positions have always been permanent and long term, however upon my return to the UK, I decided to use an agency for some supply teaching.

I registered with New Directions Education in Manchester, having had a professional orientation, I filled in the forms and then waited for work via my Account Manager.

I have always found New Directions Education to be professional, friendly and dedicated to finding you work. You get a dedicated consultant, in my case a lady who knows the supply market very well and has been an education consultant for six years.

Communication is excellent and I feel that New Directions really listens to what you want and the type of schools you want to go to. There are no problems with pay issues as the rate is explained before you go into the school, another plus is that the school complete the time sheets online so there is no waiting around to get time sheets signed.
