Since the day I signed up to work with New Directions, I’ve had a placement. I’ve been in my current placement since October 2016. The staff at New Directions have always been professional and helped when I’ve called. My Account Manager has been amazing since day one. Friendly, professional and always there for advice when needed. I always recommend New Directions to others.

A year ago I joined New Directions as a newly qualified Level 2 Learning Support Assistant. After years of re-training I finally found the job I love that, not only works around me and my large family, but has given me the confidence to carry on with my Level 3 course. Straight away New Directions found me a long term position in a local primary school and I have been there ever since. New Directions have given me my independence back and are always on hand to help, whether through training or just to listen. If I hadn’t gone to the meeting at the Community Hub I wouldn’t be where I am now, I’m so glad I chose this company and now I’m actually enjoying going to work.

I registered with New Directions 9 months ago with no school experience. I was trying to gain experience in order to find a permanent job that worked around my child care needs. In this time, the ladies in the Support Services department have placed me in a number of positions and I have gained SIMS experience. My latest position has now led me to be offered a permanent contract, which is down the road from where I live and fits around my children. I cannot thank you enough for all the help and support you have given me. If it wasn’t for New Directions and the wonderful people who work there I would never of found my perfect job. #couldntbehappier

My account manager has been a fantastic support through my first year of teaching. As a newly qualified teacher, the prospect of supply work seemed extremely daunting but she has been incredibly helpful and uplifting. She has been someone I can always rely on and talk openly with and always goes the extra mile to stay in touch and deliver extra information about schools I have worked in.
Working with New Directions has given me the opportunity to teach in a range of settings and to grow in confidence as a teacher. I have loved teaching different year groups in different schools throughout the year.
As I have just got my first teaching job I would just like to say I will really miss New Directions and if I ever find myself in need of supply work again I will be sure to head straight back to them.

New Directions is a great company to work for, and my account manager is ideal. She is always friendly and professional and understands exactly the time I can offer and the schools I prefer. She always answers the phone or phones back and she is always cheerful. She has also built a good relationship with the schools, which makes going in on supply much easier. Thanks. Janet.
