My Account Manager is great and is a pleasure to speak to on the phone. Since working for New Directions I have had steady work, with a lot more full time this academic year, which is what I wanted. I had decided that at the end of the 2013 Autumn term to make the move to supply, friends and co-workers had suggested I register with agency X,Y and Z which I did and was hopeful work might be forth coming quickly in the new year. These agencies who had made promises seemed to very quickly loose interest and even stopped replying to emails. At a bit of loose end I decided to register with a Cheshire agency, New Directions. This was by far the best move I had made. The registration was really easy. I was told prior to my registration interview the documents I would need and a check list was emailed to me also. It became clear that working for New Directions would be the best choice for me as from the very start they provided continuous work in the right type of school for me. New Directions is the type of agency the values its staff, providing not only an account manager who has the time to speak to you but also delivering free and relevant CPD sessions. My account manager has been amazing she keeps me in the loop over job opportunities, and always finds me the right type of school for me. Recently I’ve been having a number problems outside of work and she has been really supportive even though the office is busy she still takes the time to see how I am, for me this is what makes ND the right choice, it’s not just a company it’s more like a family! I registered with New Directions last October and have been given opportunities to work for every single one of my requested days since then. I am currently in a long term placement in a school which I love. It is great to experience some continuity within a school with the added benefit of gaining experience in different year groups.
