The school recently had a strange situation where we had a number of courses on in school that required a number of supply staff to cover. This was done through Rebecca our account manager at New Directions.

On that morning, I was also informed that a member of staff had gone down with a bug. I phoned New Directions to arrange cover and this was successfully done in no time at all.

Cover for all classes was arranged and I was able to relax whilst on a course knowing that this was the case.

The first weeks with New Directions, I worked at different Primary Schools. As I am originally from Germany, that time was really interesting to me, as I got to know the British school system much better. New Directions were great in getting me into long-term work with Kitchener Primary.  It was offered to me at a time when I needed it most.  Apart from loving and enjoying my time and work there, on a practical level it is just a ten minute walk away from my home, only 15 minutes from my children’s school and it just suits me to a tee.  I couldn’t be happier!

My first point of contact Jen George is fantastic. She is friendly, approachable, not at all intimidating and is understanding.  She is always prompt in getting back to me when I contact her and is always cheery.  I have nothing but praise for her.
