New Directions Recruitment and Professional are strengthening their hold in the healthcare market and are now looking to recruit candidates that have previous experience working for the MoD. We currently are looking to recruit the following personnel:

  • Pharmacist
  • NVQ level 3 / Band 5 qualified Pharmacy Technician (with full GPhC registration).
  • Healthcare Assistants Level 2
  • Healthcare Assistants Level 3
  • Practice Nurse Band 5
  • Practice Nurse Band 6
  • Practice Nurse Band 7
  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health – RMN) Band 5
  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health – RMN / CPN) Band 6
  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health – RMN / CPN) Band 7
  • Occupational Health Nurse Band 5
  • Occupational Health Nurse Band 6
  • Occupational Health Nurse Band 7
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Optometrist
  • Social Worker

As an approved supplier to the Ministry of Defence; there are a number of procedures applicants must complete. If you are interested in working for the MoD, then you will need to provide the following information:

  • National insurance number
  • Up-to-date CV
  • Current valid passport
  • CRB / Disclosure Scotland / Access Northern Ireland
  • Two recent proof of address
  • Two up-to-date references (contact details)*
  • Registration certificate – all pharmaceutical technicians must be GPHC registered for 1 July 2011**
  • Indemnity insurance
  • Hepatitis B immunisation evidence***

*This can be professional references covering your last three years of employment OR two personal references along with one professional reference. Please note personal references cannot be family members and must be in a position of authority **Please supply registration certificate for the current year ***Please provide proof of your three initial doses, blood results for the current year and five year booster to prove immunity We will need to receive evidence of all documentation before consideration for employment.
