New Directions are working closely with a small primary school in Blackley looking for an experienced, or newly qualified, Early Years teacher to work in a reception class on a full-time basis. As a result of a strong and supportive senior leadership team, the school has very little staff turnover. In a recent Ofsted inspection, they were graded as ‘Good’ with outstanding features.
This is a full-time role to start as soon as possible, continuing until then end of the school year with the view to carry on in September.
Early Years Teacher role:
Teach all areas of EYFS framework.
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all abilities.
Foster a love of learning.
Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil’s development.
Stay up to date with changes and developments within the national curriculum, commit to continuous professional development.
Early Years Teacher Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Experience teaching within the EYFS setting, or a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
