New Directions Education is currently working with a well-regarded Primary School in Bradford, that is seeking a Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis starting in September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated KS2 practitioner who can inspire and challenge pupils across the upper or lower junior years (Years 3–6). The school is looking for a teacher who is confident in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, with a strong focus on pupil progress and wellbeing.
About the Role:
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and motivated to learn
Assess and track pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and provide effective feedback
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to maximise pupil outcomes
Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments (if applicable)
Uphold school policies, including safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6)
Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to behaviour
A sound understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum, including core subjects
Ability to differentiate learning and support a range of abilities and learning styles
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
A team player with enthusiasm, resilience, and a commitment to high standards
