New Directions Education is currently recruiting Trainee Teaching Assistants to work in a welcoming mainstream primary school in Kirkby. The Role:
Work one-to-one with a pupil who may require extra help with learning, behaviour, or emotional regulation.
Support the pupil throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo.
Encourage participation, build positive relationships, and help pupils develop key social and learning skills.
Be part of a wider team dedicated to inclusion and pupil wellbeing.

No prior classroom experience is necessary – full support and training will be provided.
Ideal for those with experience in care, youth work, social services, or similar fields.
Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide references from the past five years.
