If so New Directions are looking to recruit TA’S within Primary Schools, you will be working under the guidance of teachers to support students across the curriculum in the Caldicot area.

This role is for a person who is enthusiastic, motivated, and can help children achieve their full potential, creating a positive environment for them to thrive. You may be working with children with challenging behaviour so you will need to be resilient, consistent and understanding of their needs.

Essential

• A minimum of 3 months child-based experience/ or a background in the care sector
• Contactable references
• A child and adult DBS – or be willing to undertake one via New Directions
• A willingness to complete mandatory training when required
• An excellent track record
• Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term
• Strong communication skills
