The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons, covering drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
Develop students’ foundational skills in line, shape, tone, colour, texture, and form.
Encourage exploration of materials, creativity, and understanding of artists and art movements.
Support positive behaviour and contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified to teach Art at secondary level (QTS or equivalent).
Experienced in teaching a range of artistic techniques and media.
Passionate about developing students’ creativity and critical understanding of art.
Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service if not already in place.
Able to provide references covering at least the last 5 years of employment or study.
