The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3–5, with a focus on preparing students for the AQA Exam syllabus.
Support students’ progress in reading, writing, and critical analysis, fostering a love of literature and language.
Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and engagement in all aspects of learning.
Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified to teach English at secondary level (QTS or equivalent).
Experienced in teaching AQA Exam syllabus at KS4 and KS5.
Committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service if not already in place.
Able to provide references covering at least the last 5 years of employment or study.
