New Directions Education is currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly and supportive primary school in Denton. The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teaching staff across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
• Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting with the delivery of engaging lessons
• Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and social development
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Has previous experience working in a primary school setting, ideally across KS1 and KS2
• Is willing to complete an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service (if not already registered)
• Can provide references covering at least the last 5 years of employment or study
• Is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about supporting children’s learning
