New Directions are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work in Year 2 at a welcoming and supportive primary school in the M34 area, starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time role running until the end of the academic year, with the potential to move onto a school-based contract for the right candidate.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports behaviour, wellbeing, and learning.
Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and senior leaders to support all pupils effectively.
The Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status.
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Experienced Teachers and ECT’s are encouraged to apply
