We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate CAMHS Support Assistant to work within a school in Birkenhead. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) and their impact on learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation.
You will work closely with pupils who present with anxiety, emotional distress, behavioural challenges, or mental health needs, providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support. Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams, you will help pupils develop coping strategies and access learning in a safe, supportive environment.

• Have experience supporting children or young people with mental health needs
• Be trained in ACES or trauma-informed approaches

• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
