We’re looking for dynamic, positive, and adaptable Secondary General Cover Teachers to join our team and support schools across Leeds. No two days are ever the same — and that’s what makes it exciting.
What You’ll Do
As a Cover Teacher, you’re the hero who steps in when teachers are absent.
Your will…
Bring energy and structure to pre‑planned lessons
Keep students engaged, focused and motivated
Maintain a calm, positive classroom environment
Support pupils across KS3 & KS4 in a range of subjects
Build quick rapport with students and staff
Adapt confidently to different schools and routines
You’ll have everything you need — lesson plans, supportive staff, and a chance to shine in different school settings.
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
✔ A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
✔ Confident in managing behaviour and leading a class
✔ Positive, proactive, and able to jump into new situations
✔ Flexible and happy to work across subjects
✔ Strong at communicating and building relationships
✔ Holding a valid DBS (or willing to obtain one)
