New Directions is currently recruiting for SEND Teaching Assistants to support a Multi-Academy Trust in the Oldham & Rochdale area. The SEND TA would work on a pre-booked and ad-hoc basis across a number of schools within the MAT – to ensure continuity throughout the learning community. This is a part-time/ flexible role to commence asap and would suit candidates who are looking for day to day cover, part time roles (Please note that often these can lead into full time positions if this is something that you are interested in). We are really keen to speak to Level 2, Level 3 TAS, University students/ Graduates and also candidates who have an interest in working in the Education sector and are looking to gain more experience.

Multi-academy trust with schools in Oldham & Rochdale.

The Role:
Supply TA work across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 in the mainstream classroom/ nurture base/ SEND base.
Supporting the class teacher as well as the students as and when required.
Part-time/ flexible – Monday to Friday – 8:30am -3.30pm.
The Candidate:
Must have childcare experience, be proactive and be able to show initiative.
This role would be suitable for qualified TAS, university students, graduates, those with an interest in supporting SEND within a school setting.
