About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring learning continues smoothly and students remain engaged and on task.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre‑prepared lesson materials to classes across KS3 and KS4
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support pupils with queries and maintain a positive learning environment
Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold school expectations
Provide feedback to teaching staff after each lesson
About You
We’re looking for individuals who are:
Confident speaking to groups and engaging young people
Calm, organised and able to think on their feet
Professional and reliable, with strong communication skills
Experienced working with young people (schools, coaching, youth work, tutoring etc.)
Flexible and open to working across different subjects and year groups
An enhanced DBS is required, or willingness to obtain one.
