The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored learning and support strategies
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to help them feel safe and engaged
Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and wellbeing throughout the school day
Assist with classroom activities, interventions, and pastoral care
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates who:
Hold a degree in Psychology or a related field
Have a calm, grounded, and patient nature
Are empathetic, observant, and able to respond thoughtfully to challenging situations
Have a genuine interest in child development, mental health, and education
Are proactive and willing to learn from a multidisciplinary team
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience or training in wellbeing practices
Skills or qualifications in yoga, mindfulness, or relaxation techniques
Previous experience working with children or young people (in any setting)
