New Directions are currently recruiting for an SEND Teacher for a Primary school Nurture Provision. The role is based in a separate provision which is set apart from the main primary school. There are a small group of children based in the setting and there is also a TA in there to support. The ideal candidate will be someone who is confident working with KS1 and KS2 children who have difficulties with communication and interaction. ECTS/ HLTAS will be considered

The Role:
Plans and delivers tailored, differentiated learning to meet the individual needs of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Provides targeted interventions and 1:1 or small-group support, helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Works collaboratively with parents, staff, and external professionals to monitor progress, implement support plans (e.g. EHCPs), and ensure inclusive practice.
The Candidate:
Holds QTS / HLTA qualification
Experience working with children with additional needs including communication and interaction in KS1/ KS2
