About the role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to supervise lessons when teachers are absent. You don’t need to plan lessons – you’ll deliver pre‑prepared work, keep students on task, and help create a positive learning environment.
Your day will typically involve:
-Supervising lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
-Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a calm, respectful environment
-Supporting students to stay engaged and focused on their work
-Following school policies and working alongside teaching staff
-Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
We’re looking for people who are:
-Confident and comfortable leading a classroom
-Calm, patient, and professional
-Adaptable and reliable
-Interested in working with young people
-Previous school experience
