This role offers a mix of day‑to‑day cover, short‑term bookings, and longer‑term placements, making it ideal for teachers looking for flexibility while continuing to make a positive impact in the classroom.
The Role
Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
Deliver pre‑planned lessons and ensure continuity of learning
Maintain positive behaviour and a productive learning environment
Adapt quickly to different school settings and student groups
About You
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
Be confident in classroom management and pupil engagement
Flexible, professional, and reliable
ECTs, experienced teachers, and semi‑retired teachers are all welcome to apply
